Søuld Wooden Lines brings together two materials that share a quiet strength. 

The acoustic core consists of eelgrass gently collected along the Danish coastline after it washes ashore and dried by sun and wind. The material naturally binds carbon, offers excellent sound absorption and is both non-toxic and durable.

In front of the eelgrass, a rhythm of slender solid oak lines adds warmth and architectural depth to the surface. The result is a tactile and considered material composition - rooted in craftsmanship, natural resources and circular thinking.

The contrast between the soft, porous eelgrass surface and the precise timber elements gives the product its distinctive architectural expression. The eelgrass retains its natural fibres, texture and subtle colour variations, while the oak introduces structure, protection and visual rhythm across the surface. Together, the two materials create a tactile wall element in which acoustic performance and material expression are considered as one.

Originally designed by Lars Vejen for the interior of a Japanese Restaurant, the design of Wooden Lines is intentionally restrained, allowing it to integrate naturally into different architectural contexts - from hospitality interiors and restaurants to offices, galleries and private spaces. 

Wooden Lines is available in three different framed module variants (see green Module A, B, C images opposite), each with a different arrangement of oak lines. The three modules can be rotated and combined, allowing patterns to continue and shift across larger wall surfaces.

Luna, Sol and Rectangle share the same dimensions and installation method - mix them freely on one wall without any technical constraints.
