BRANDL TALOS is one of Austria’s leading business law firms. Their office building was realised by Groh-Wagner Architekten. The laying of 375 m2 of Vulcano OAK in hexagon format is a visual exclamation mark and underlines the standing of this exemplary project.
Consisting of six individual parts, the hexagon is laid with care and the utmost precision. This clear system is contrasted in this project by curves and sweeping shapes in various places.
A living product - the Hexagon begins its impressive show when it is laid in natural light. Depending on the incidence of light, different areas become more prominent. Combined with the differences in brightness and colour of the wood, an individual image is created.
The meeting room, shown below, with a view over the Austrian capital is a highly frequented area in the project. Oak is also the ideal choice due to its durability and good repairability.
