Intense colour play between light-brown and brown. Floor with very vivid character! Very robust floor planks, suitable for commercial use. 

Oak wood with consistent colouring resulting from special heat treatment (without chemical additives). This treatment is intensifying the natural colour play of the wood and leads to a variation in brown tones. 

Oak plank in 3-layer construction with small bevel on long side and approx. 4 mm top layer, with approx. 4 mm backing in the same wood and middle layer conifer. Tongue and groove on all sides for easy installation. Cracks, knotholes and large knots are emphasised with black putty. Variations in colour and sapwood at the edges possible. Small open cracks and unsealed spots of a few millimetres are permitted.

Vulcano medium woods are thermally treated. The woods are proverbially baked without chemical additives and therefore have a little darker shade across the entire material crosscut. Vulcano therefore represents a responsible and ecological alternative to tropical woods.

The mafi philosophy ensures the complete tree is used and nothing is wasted. The resulting variations in lengths and width underline the character of a natural wooden floor.

* A range of ‘fixed dimensions’ (see Product Data Sheet download below) are generally possible, however an extra charge for this will be applied. mafi always uses the entire tree which is naturally different in length and width. The additional charge for fixed dimensions is because the room for manoeuvre during production are tight and more difficult in terms of raw materials.
