Comprising an integrated fixed-height Desk (available in two sizes) and fixed-height Stool, this combination differs from our TeeBeu Sit-Stand Workstation in that it is offered for those working from home that are not looking to alternate between sitting and standing at their desk throughout the working day.

We offer a solid timber stool as opposed to a chair with the intention of stimulating a healthy posture when sitting. Our aim is to make the user feel comfortable but not too comfortable, as we know that sitting for long periods is detrimental to our health and can cause damage to our back. Stools can trigger what is called ‘active-sitting’ which refers to actively engaging at least some of our muscles whilst seated whether that be our back, abdominal, or leg muscles. A stool is better for this than a chair as it allows us to sit, perch and move easily as we work, and it encourages a good, erect-back posture.

Additionally, we offer a beautifully tailored hand-woven Stool Box Cushion for those that might prefer some added comfort when sitting on our adjustable or fixed height stool.

The coordinated design of our desk and stool offers a timeless, elegant Scandi style solid timber aesthetic (shown here in Elm and Ash) that will suit most home environments whether it is used in a study, hallway, open plan living space or garden studio. TeeBeu has an elegant distinctive symmetry in the splay of the desk and stool legs to create a considered piece of beautifully handcrafted furniture using sustainably-sourced FSC timbers, that works and looks good in your home.
