Welcoming Charles and Maria from Byron & Gómez

Really chuffed to welcome the incredible talents of Charles Byron and Maria del Mar Gómez of Byron & Gómez into the Teer & Co fold of Designer Makers. 

Initially, Charles and Maria join us for private commission work only. This means that on occasions when customers wish to discuss their specific ideas and requirements for a bespoke piece of furniture or object, we can work with Charles and Maria if we feel their talents lend themselves to help realise the customer’s needs.

Established in 2015, Byron & Gómez is a partnership of designer makers dedicated to creating beautiful handcrafted furniture from their workshop in Somerset. Charles and Maria have a love of contemporary design and a passion for traditional craft.

Their training as cabinet makers instilled in them a meticulous attention to detail which is evident in both the design and execution of their stunning work. Through the use of high quality materials and our commitment to a simple harmony of form and function they create furniture that is bold yet understated.

They were awarded a Bespoke and a Design Guild mark in their first three years in business. These are the most prestigious awards for excellence in design for manufacture and excellence in craftsmanship for bespoke pieces.
